Specificity and cross-reactivity
Detects an ~78kD, 180kD, p105 and p78 proteins, corresponding to the apparent molecular masses of MEKK-1 protein and cleaved CT fragment on SDS-PAGE immunoblots, in samples from human, mouse and rat. Other cross reactive bands are also detected on immunoblot analysis. Based on predicted sequence homologies, no cross-reactivity with MEKK-2 or MEKK-3 is expected.
