Rabbit anti ERK/MAPK (Thr202/Tyr204) Antibody
This antibody doesn't cross react with other species
Fusion protein from the N-terminus of rabbit renal Na+/Ca2+ exchanger
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
Lyophilized (See usage for reconstitution). Prepared from rabbit serum by affinity purification via sequential chromatography on phospho- and dephosphopeptide affinity columns.
This product is intended FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY, and FOR TESTS IN VITRO, not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures involving humans or animals. This datasheet is as accurate as reasonably achievable, but Nordic-MUbio accepts no liability for any inaccuracies or omissions in this information.
Extracellular-Signal Regulated Kinase/Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase (ERK/MAPK) is an integral component of cellular signaling during mitogenesis and differentiation of mitotic cells and also is thought to play a key role in learning and memory. The activity of this kinase is regulated by dual phosphorylation at Thr202 and Tyr204.
Antibody can be used for Westen blot (1:1000 dilution). Optimal concentration should be evaluated by serial dilutions. This lyophilized antibody can be stored at -20¼C and is stable for at least 2 years. The antibody should be reconstituted in 50µl PBS before use. After reconstitution the antibody should be aliquoted and stored at -20C.
Rabbits are used for polyclonal antibody production by nordc. Rabbit antibodies are very stable and can be stored for several days at room temperature. nordc adds sodium azide and glycerol to enhance the stability of the rabbit polyclonal antibodies. Anti-human, anti mouse antibodies to highly immunogenic selected peptide sequences are" monoclonal like" since the epitope to which they are directed is less than 35 amino acids long.
