Primary Antibodies
Mouse anti p44 MAP Kinase (ERK ) Antibody
This antibody doesn't cross react with other species
GKPIPNPLLGLDST (V5) synthetic peptide conjugated to KLH
Provided as solution in phosphate buffered saline with 0.08% sodium azide. Protein A/G Chromatography
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided.
Sensitivity: WB (with ECL): 1-2 ng of V5-tagged fusion proteins._x000B_WB (with ECL): 1:1000-3000 dilution (incubate for 1 hour at room temperature).IS: 1:500-2000 dilution. For best results with other assays (e.g. Dot, ELISA, IP, etc), optimal concentration should be evaluated by serial dilutions.

Mouse or mice from the Mus musculus species are used for production of mouse monoclonal antibodies or mabs and as research model for humans in your lab. Mouse are mature after 40 days for females and 55 days for males. The female mice are pregnant only 20 days and can give birth to 10 litters of 6-8 mice a year. Transgenic, knock-out, congenic and inbread strains are known for C57BL/6, A/J, BALB/c, SCID while the CD-1 is outbred as strain.
p44 MAP Kinase (ERK) belongs to the protein kinase superfamily, the MAP kinase subfamily and contains 1 protein kinase domain It is involved in both the initiation and regulation of meiosis, mitosis, and postmitotic functions in differentiated cells by phosphorylating a number of transcription factors such as ELK-1. Phosphorylates EIF4EBP1; required for initiation of translation. Phosphorylates microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP2). Phosphorylates SPZ1 (By similarity). Phosphorylates heat shock factor protein 4 (HSF4).
